THE NECESSITY
Among the key drivers of the Next Generation EU European program, sustainability has a central role. Sustainability to be considered as a dimension that not only embraces the is-sues of energy conservation and “green” transition but also takes into account the well-being of people. Choosing su-stainable products means meeting the required criteria and seizing the opportunities foreseen by the European plan.
P3’S SOLUTION
The “green” transition has always been a focus of P3. A journey that began in 2000 and has led to the development of a product that truly meets all the performances and standards required in terms of sustainability and energy savings. All measured, vali-dated and certified.
P3 SUSTAINABILITY IS DEEPLY ROOTED

THE FUNDAMENTALS OF P3DUCTAL SUSTAINABILITY
Processes and products
the only duct made with Hydrotec® water-only ecological expansion technology with certified no greenhouse gases (GWP=0 and ODP=0), EPD (Environmental Product Declaration).
Economic efficiency
the only air duct subjected to LCC (Life Cycle Costing) analysis for measurable energy savings,
guaranteed over time.
Sustainable contribution
the only mapped air duct for contributing to the sustainability of buildings in the international LEED, BREEAM and WELL standards.
Recycled materials
the air duct made with recycled materials as required by international standard
P3DUCTAL: EVEN MORE RECYCLED FOR A “CIRCULAR” PRODUCT
The Next Gen EU European plan places sustai-nability and compliance with the environmen-tal taxonomy at the center of the fundamental requirements for accessing financing lines. On this front, the topic of circularity represents an essential element. For this reason, we have innovated the formulation of our polyuretha-ne by replacing part of the virgin polyol with a percentage of recycled polyol certified by TÜV ITALIA.

aP3DUCTAL AND VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS EMISSIONS

Compliance with the main environmental sustainability regulations and protocols requires a specific assessment of VOC Volatile Organic Compounds emissions.
This compliance is required by LEED and BREEAM protocols.

aP3DUCTAL AND INTERNATIONAL PROJECT STANDARDS
In order to access funding, it will be essential to meet the principle of “do no significant harm to the six environmental objectives identified by the European Green Deal”.
This translates into an assessment of whether interventions comply with the principle of ‘Do No Significant Harm’ (DNSH).
DNSH relates directly not only to CAM but also to the LEED standard and international standards.
P3 had already mapped the P3ductal channels in 2011 according to the LEED standard
V.2009 standard (mapping subsequently updated in 2015 according to the LEED V.4 guidelines).
To close the circle of international environmental and energy standards, P3 mapped the P3ductal channels according to the BREEAM standard and according to the WELL standard.
LEED STANDARD
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the world’s most widespread energy and sustainability certification standard for buildings. Within the LEED standard, all the innovative and evolutionary steps developed in recent years by P3 find a natural correlation.
The contribution mapping carried out for P3 was conducted according to the LEED Reference Guide for Green Building Design and Construction requirements.
BREEAM STANDARD
The BREEAM standard promotes innovation, sustainability values and efficiency by developing sustainable environments that improve people’s well-being.
The contribution mapping of P3ductal products was carried out according to the BREEAM International New Construction 2016 requirements valid for the design, construction, operation and future development of new and existing buildings.
WELL STANDARD
WELL is the first system that identifies key parameters for designing buildings to improve people’s lives and comfort.
P3ductal has been mapped according to both WELL and WELL Health Safety.
