Why to choose “do it yourself” method
• Ready to made panels: with the “Do-it-yourself” method, P3 provides the entire panels and framing section bars in length. You can easily perform the cutting and framing yourself. Therefore you have the panels already made, ahead of the anticipated demand.
• Lower investments: starting from entire sheets, the P3isomac system allows the production of finished panels for air handling unit with a much lower investment compared to the traditional system.
Phases of construction

Cutting P3isomac panels: P3isomac panels can be cut using a common jig saw or an electric saw. The use of the electric saw is only valid for panels 25 mm thick. To cut panels 45.5 mm thick it is necessary to use an appropriate cutting machine.

Moulding: for panels being framed with the border frames 26BC25 and 26BC50, P3 has developed purpose made milling tools (26FR25/50 to be used in connection with the 26FR01 milling machine) that permit the creation of a groove around the entire perimeter of the panels, referring to the geometrical shape of the border itself. They also link to the milling machine 26FR01. If needed, you can equip yourself with a suitable milling machine.

Cutting of frame border: a special wooden template(22BD25/50) must be used when the frame border is being cut to 45°, in order to prevent the soft plastic frame border fins from bending and to protect against the section-bar cutting machine (22TN01).

Glueing and installation of the frame border: when the frame border is cut to your requirements, it must be coated with special glue (the required quantity is 16 grams per meter). After having inserted the frame border into the slot, it is necessary to wait approximately four hours before laying the panels.

P3isomac panels installation: the special P3isomac frame borders allow the panels to be fastened from both the inside and the outside, thus eliminating the problem of condensation due to the thermal bridge created by the screws.
